After selling one half of a two-part workplace solutions business, Vantage was looking to refine the strategic approach of its biophilic side. Operating in a market that has existing strong players, it needed to carve a distinctive approach that offer something different to its competitors.

We have worked with Vantage over a number of years, firstly to establish its brand foundation, then to refine its overall appearance and online presence, and finally to develop a clear position of expertise in its market through thought leadership strategy and execution.

Phase 01

Detailed strategic analysis

Brand strategy and value proposition development

At the outset, we hosted a brand workshop for Vantage Spaces to identify a distinctive approach to market. A three-pillar value proposition was defined, along with the creation of indicative narrative designed to express the brand's new strategy. The new value proposition was substantiated by the creation of a tangible market offering complete with CGI imagery. We combined a selection of existing market-ready products to create a new collection concept, shifting the focus from planting in isolation, highlighting the difference that could be achieved with 'planted rooms' of biophilia in contemporary workspaces.


Phase 02

Brand identity refinement and evolution

A bold new aesthetic that captures the essence of Vantage Spaces

We undertook a comprehensive review of the organisation's previous brand identity, and suggested ways to enhance its appearance to be reflective of a contemporary leader in the office planting space.

The industry-recognised brand icon was separated from the wordmark to achieve a more flexible way of applying the brand across multiple platforms.

Phase 03

Branded collateral

Same brand, new look.

We introduced a distinctive new layering concept for imagery — using large planted elements to introduce a heightened sensation of depth and realism across their suite of branded materials. We considered how the brand would be applied at multiple touchpoints, creating a consistent experience at all stages of the customer journey.

A contemporary website experience

Worlds apart from the oppressive black website it replaced, the new Vantage Spaces brand has been lifted to a contemporary, trustworthy brand for specialist workplace biophilia. The new website takes our layering concept to the next level, with subtle animations and parallax effects that enhance the user experience across all devices. We translated the brand's revised strategy into practical expression through copywriting across the site, with key phraseology present right from the start.

A new visual language

The brand's previous all-black look was removed in favour of a rich green that brings out the vibrancy of the planted elements, and the brand's established shade of yellow. We also presented a new complementary typeface to pair with the existing brand font, bringing with it a more approachable and trustworthy dynamic. A suite of pastel supporting shades help to facilitate seamless brand expression in physical and digital forms at any scale — from small phone screens, right up to large event spaces.
